MANGO FANDANGO

10,000 new customers – plus new 16-19 deal – plus discounts from Flowers to Fish ‘n’ Chips!

Ten thousand new money-saving customers were recruited by the MANGO sales team in the last year.  A new 16-19 MANGO offering 35% of single fares starts in March.  And there is a new range of extra special discounts for all MANGO holders  - which is set to grow.

Marketing Manager Sarah Taylor said that she expected the 16-19 MANGO to be a big-seller:

“Traditionally, most bus fares are half price up to the age of 16, when adult fares begin.

“We want to change that – and MANGO has given us the opportunity.  Starting from 14 March, anyone with a 16-19 MANGO will be guaranteed an immediate 35% saving on single fares plus all the other MANGO benefits including daily fares limits (after which extra journeys are free) and the ability to share the card with friends.

“Research tells us that people are thinking all the more about how much they are using their cars – and over a quarter of our customers already choose the bus as an alternative.  16-19 MANGO is designed for new generations of environmentally-conscious travellers.

“And for all MANGO customers, added value is on the cards – literally.  We are negotiating special discounts for MANGO which already includes Bar Food, a Jewellers, Florists and Ten Pin Bowling - and we are about to add George’s Fish and Chips and Derby Live Theatre”.

Details are on the MANGO web page – and meanwhile the MANGO sales team is out and about again – following the routes of red arrow, rainbow 1, the Belper-based the sixes and the two out of Cotmanhay and Ilkeston
