Brewers fans can now bus to Burton with zigzag play

Our zigzag play deal has now arrived in Burton – meaning football fans can now make savings on trips to see the Brewers play at the Pirelli Stadium.

We’ve teamed up with Burton Albion to enable supporters to take advantage of zigzag play - offering them unlimited travel on match days for just £4.50 instead of the usual zigzag price of £5.

And there are further savings to be made for fans travelling together, with zigzag group, which costs £9 for up to five people.

Sue Blount, our Service Delivery Manager covering Derby and Burton, explained: “The offer has already proved popular with supporters of various sports clubs around trentbarton land, and we’re delighted at this new partnership with Burton Albion.

All fans have to do to qualify for zigzag play is show a match ticket when boarding a bus on their way to the Pirelli Stadium, which is served by our villager and X38 buses.

Sue added: “Whether fans travel on their own or with family and friends, zigzag play offers a great way to save money on match days. By taking the bus to the game supporters don’t have to worry about traffic or parking, and they can enjoy a drink before or after the game.”
