Bus users in Derbyshire are being offered the opportunity to shape the future of services they rely on.

Bus companies from across the county will join forces next week to meet their customers at a special ‘Your Bus Matters!’ event in Derby.

Organised by consumer group Bus Users UK, the event will see companies including trent barton, kinchbus and Arriva Midlands outline their future plans.

Alex Hornby, Commercial Director, explained: “More importantly, it gives us the chance to listen to the views of those who really matter, our customers.

“Up for discussion will be the frequency of services, the development of new routes and anything else bus users want to talk about.”

The event takes place at Derby Bus Station from 10am to 4pm on Thursday, August 30.
