Late-night workers, twilight lovers, gig-goers and party animals will be pleased to hear that red arrow will be going 24 hours from Sunday 2 September.
Staying out late, or getting up earlier just got a whole lot easier. red arrow will run hourly through the night between midnight and 5am.
It’s another landmark development for red arrow and will create the first 24-hour express link between Nottingham and Derby. Meaning that the two cities will join the likes of London, New York and Tokyo to enjoy a round the clock service.
In 2004, we launched late-night coaches on Fridays & Saturdays until 4am to make it easier to get home after a night out. Since then, we’ve seen more & more people using red arrow in the early hours as a safe way to travel home.
Jeff Counsell, trentbarton’s managing director, said: “Derby & Nottingham are both bustling cities with a variety of late-night entertainment venues, not to mention the rise of people working through the night across different industries. These social developments have seen a demand for a better express connection from dusk ‘til dawn, not just on Fridays and Saturdays, but throughout the week.”
So, whether you’re looking for some nocturnal delights, or a round the clock commute – there’s no stopping you.
