We'll be making some changes to our fares from Sunday 10 April.
Many fares are being frozen and some groups of customers will see no rises at all. But faced with high inflation and increasing costs of fuel, parts and wages, we’re having to increase some fares to continue to invest in our services and fleet.
We are also simplifying our fare structure after listening to customer feedback and accelerating improvements which make our most popular ways to pay - mango, travel contactless and zigzag - the best value for money. mango is increasingly the cheapest way to travel, with discounted singles, new zonal caps and rolling caps.
Despite the changes, travelling by bus will still be cheaper than the equivalent solo journey in a car and remains the green way.
adults
mango
mango will increase in line with cash fares but will continue to maintain a 10% discount on cash singles for adults. Discounts for other concessions are also retained.
We will be introducing zonal 7-day & 28-day caps which will limit how much you spend when travelling in certain zones across trentbartonland meaning you always benefit from the right discount. Full network caps remain available and the details of all our adult mango caps are outlined below. Remember these are automatically applied in the background so you'll benefit without having to do anything, it couldn’t be easier...

travel contactless
Travel contactless prices will increase by around 10-20p, some longer distance fares may have larger increases. Our day cap of £10.50 - before 9am Mondays to Fridays and £7 after 9am Mondays to Fridays and 4am weekends and Bank Holidays means your spending is limited, no matter how often you travel.
cash singles
Cash single prices will increase by around 10-20p, some longer distance fares may have larger increases.
students
mango
mango will increase in line with cash fares, but students will continue to access a 20% discount on cash singles. Discounts for other concessions are also retained.

Great news - your price has been frozen. Our youngest explorers, aged 10 and under, continue to travel on any bus, any where and at any time [not available on nightbuses] for just £1 for each trip.
