Bus marathon raises more money for the Lewis Mighty Fund

Dave Pearson and friends spent 24 hours travelling around on trentbarton buses with the aim to adding to the fund that we have already risen this year for the Lewis Mighty fund. Armed with zigzag plus vouchers the guys set out from Derby bus station at 10am on Friday 2 August and visited dozens of towns and villages across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire on just as many routes. While travelling across trentbarton land they carried collection buckets which were used to raise yet more money.

They arrived back at Derby bus station on Saturday money morning thoroughly exhausted from their travels, and headed home for a well-deserved rest. Thank you very much for you monumental effort, it was greatly appreciated by us and the Lewis Mighty fund.
