It's in Nottingham, the city’s business improvement district, is thrilled to announce the return of the much-anticipated Halloween Festival. This year’s event promises to be a frightfully fun experience for all ages, with a lineup of activities that will bring the city to life with eerie excitement.

 

From Saturday 26 October to Sunday 3 November 2024, Nottingham's skyline will take on a new dimension as the notorious rooftop monsters make their appearance on top of city buildings. These larger-than-life creatures will overlook the streets, adding a touch of spooky spectacle to the cityscape.

 

A map showing the locations of all the monsters will be available to pick up from Nottingham Tourism Centre from 8 October 2024.

 

For those looking to explore more of the Halloween magic, the Monster Bus Spooky Safari offers a unique way to discover the city. This eerie bus ride will take participants on a tour around Nottingham's city centre, giving them the chance to spot the Rooftop Monsters from the best vantage points. Tickets are available from Eventbrite and cost £2 each for both adults and children.

 

Get ready for a ghoulishly good time at the Monster Mash at Nottingham Castle on Thursday, 31 October 2024, from 10am to 5pm. A day brimming with music, dancing, and ghostly delights. A live DJ will be spinning tunes to keep everyone moving in the bandstand. Don't miss the Strolling Bones Parade by the renowned outdoor arts specialists, Walk the Plank, featuring giant dancing skeleton puppets that will add a mischievous Halloween vibe to the castle grounds, grooving to the lively sounds of the Fat Cat Brass Band!

Nottingham’s iconic buildings will be transformed, making it the perfect time to explore, shop, eat and enjoy the wide range of spooky and fun events. Alongside the vibrant rooftop displays, families can look forward to a half-term packed with free and low-cost activities. We’re especially excited to host the Strolling Bones Parade at the Monster Mash.”
