Nottingham 10K road closures

On Sunday 15 May Nottingham will be filled with lycra-clad men and women taking part in Nottingham's 10K run.

To make way for the runners (and walkers!) several roads will be closed in Nottingham city centre, meaning that some of our Nottingham buses will have to divert.

From 9.20am until 10am Castle Boulevard and Friar Lane will be closed. During this time indigo and i4 buses will not be able to serve Friar Lane, and will divert via Upper Parliament Street to get to Broadmarsh bus station. 20 buses will also follow this diversion.

Also our skylink Nottingham buses will not serve Canal Street, Brewhouse Yard Museum, Paletine Street, ATS, Alderney Street or Friar Lane between 9.20am-10am and skylink Nottingham buses will divert via Upper Parliament Street to get to Broadmarsh bus station.

South of the city, from 9.20am to around 3pm Meadow Way will be closed, during this time  cotgrave connection, keyworth connection, rushcliffe mainline and skylink express will all start and finish at Broadmarsh bus station. Buses won't be able to serve Nottingham station, Lammas Gardens, Eugene Gardens, Ryhill Street and Top Knot in both directions.

Due to the nature of the event, we can't be more specific on when the roads will reopen, but we'll do our best to keep you moving and we'll return to our normal routes as soon as possible.

We expect some delays due to congestion so please plan your journey with plenty of time.
