Nottingham Carnival will be parading through the city centre on Sunday 17 August.
The current schedule is:
- 2pm - parade departs the castle
- 2:45pm - parade held at the Brian Clough statue until 3pm
- 3pm – depart Brian Clough statue
- 3:15pm – parade passing Victoria Centre
- 4:30pm – arrival at the Forest Rec
Friar Lane
All bus stops on Friar Lane (F1, F2, F3, F4) will be closed between 2pm and 3pm. cotgrave connection, rushcliffe green, skylink, indigo, i4 and 20 buses will use the temporary bus stop, M6, on Maid Marian Way.
Victoria bus station
rainbow one, rapid one, red arrow and the two buses will use the temporary bus stop, T8, on Burton Street between 3.15pm - 4.15pm.
calverton connection, pronto, and threes buses will not be able to reach Victoria bus station between 3pm - 4.30pm. During this time, journeys will start and end at Clarendon College. Shuttle buses will run between Woodborough Road (stop F010) and Clarendon College stop (FO06).
We will have team members on the ground at key stops in the city to make sure you catch your bus on time.
Whilst the parade passes through the city centre, we expect delays to most journeys due to congestion and rolling road blocks.
