The vibrant city of Nottingham is gearing up to host a week-long celebration of its thriving food scene with 'Taste of Nottingham' taking place from Monday 9 to Sunday 15 September 2024.

This exciting event, organised by It's in Nottingham, will feature the very best offerings of the city, promising a delicious experience for locals, visitors, and food enthusiasts alike.

Through a week of curated dining experiences, food tours, and culinary activities, the event aims to highlight the city's status as a premier destination for food enthusiasts.

 Event Highlights:

• Chocolate and Whisky Tasting - 9 September 2024: Kick off the week with a one-to-one pairing of five whiskeys with chocolates from Studio Chocolate. Indulge in the flavours carefully crafted by the skilled chocolatiers and whiskey experts.

• Guided Pizza Tour - 10 and 12 September 2024: Explore five of Nottingham’s top pizzerias on this delicious, guided tour with EAT: Nottingham. Taste a variety of pizzas and learn about the unique styles and ingredients that make each one special.

• Get a Taste of Nottinghamshire - 11 and 13 September 2024: Indulge in a three-course meal cooked by a Michelin-trained chef, featuring foods traditional to Nottingham. A paired menu option is also available, offering the perfect beverage accompaniments to each dish

• Beers and Caves - 11 and 15 September 2024: Join us for a guided tour of Nottingham's historic pubs with caves. Hear fascinating stories about the city’s beer heritage while enjoying some of the best pints Nottingham has to offer.

• Chocolate Making Workshop - 12 September 2024: Learn to make whisky truffles using whisky from The Whisky Shop in this hands-on workshop with Studio Chocolate.

• Plate Painting Crafternoon at Debbie Bryan - 14 September 2024: Immerse yourself in the art of surface pattern design and hand-lettering as you create your unique ceramic saucer or plate. While you unleash your creativity, indulge in a delicious savoury grazing platter, making it an afternoon of artistry and relaxation you won't want to miss.
