 2. switch to mango

One simple card, rechargeable online, means you can say goodbye to using cash when you travel. mango saves time, money and hassle.

It doesn't matter if you use the bus or tram often, or just every now and then, mango gives you a saving of at least 15% off the single cash fare for every journey you make. You can use mango on any trentbarton bus or on the NET tram in Nottingham.

(mango can not be used on pronto or skylink Derby-Leicester journeys and only on trentbarton's X38 journeys)

daily, 7 day & 28 day caps -Never pay more than £5.50 a day with mango day caps.

auto top-up - The fastest and easiest way is with auto-top up. You can enable auto top-up on your mango account when first create your account or on the top-up screen.

When your credit falls below a set amount, credit will automatically zapped to your account from your nominated debit or credit card. You can set both the mininum credit balance and the auto top-up amount.  Auto top-up can be cancelled at any time.

mango money back - When you hit your 7 day caps, we will give you up to £5 mango credit back. You'll need to be signed up to marketing emails and respond within 3 days to the mango money back email sent to the email address on your mango account.

speedy boarding - Once you're armed with your loaded mango, board the bus and 'touch on' with your card. When you leave the bus 'touch off' to record your trip.

Your journey is automatically recorded and your discounted fare is decucted from your account.

manage online - If you don't want to set up auto top-up, you can top your mango up with credit through your online account using a debit or credit card. Or, you can top-up at any trentbarton shop using a debit or credit card or cash.

cheaper tram fares - Squeeze even more out of your mango by using it on any NET tram. NET tram caps are separate and don't count towards trentbarton caps.

3. use your National Concessionary Pass

If you are over 66 years old or have a form of disability, you may be entitled to a free concessionary bus pass.
